Oh my gosh, she’s adorable! For excellent dog advice, pick up any of Cesar Millan’s books, or watch his Dog Whisperer show. He’s amazing!

    Congratulations!!!!! :)

I have a Shiba Inu named YAKI (short for Ocanomiyaki which is Japanese for pancake! Yuki could be his twin! Yaki is 14 mos old and looks just like a fox!

I am reading Beside a Burning Sea and googled it and found Haiku By Two and then saw Yuki and just had to leave a comment! :0)

    Hi Maura,

I love that name! And what a wonderful coincidence that you should find the haiku site of another Shiba Inu mom!

Thanks for stopping by. It’s going to be quite the year for me with my little Shiba, Yuki is my first puppy in my adult life. And many more Shiba haiku will come out of it, I am sure : )

[…] You’ll have to read the book to find out, but I shall say that this book of 5-7-5 puppy capers certainly resonated with Penelope who would often shout out during the story “That’s like Yuki!”. […]
