Having grown up in Colorado, I understand about wood ticks. As children, we were always on the outlook for the dreaded bloodsucker…
Here in Texas, much less of a consideration.
I like this one.

Funny. We are in the country for the week surrounded by woods and farm land and whenever we walk in grass that is not freshly mowed we are thinking - ticks!
