What’s funny about this is that I’ve never considered myself a marigold fan. I never buy them for my flower pots — I choose vine-like petunias or impatiences. I love how impatiences grow together into a fat puffy quilt.
But this year, the marigolds were on sale for 98 cents and I bought a whole bunch of them. And I must say, they are making me rethink my former marigold strike. I’m developing a liking for them.
Scrumptious!

I can soooo see that marigold… I love them, so cheery and summery and the best of the flower garden…
