It is “funny” that we were both thinking about orange. And time. For me it was the lingering Age of Aquarius and for you something so bittersweet.

This is a really, really beautiful haiku and I love that the orange shows up on each line. In the words “morning”, “sunset” “fuscia orange” and “prom dress.” And this haiku is so seeped in all the emotions you are feeling.

And I think of these colors when I think of you. Reds and oranges. You are in my thoughts each day.

    Kelly,

Just wonderful imagery in these words–such bittersweetness–and all of it reaching back to yesterday and stretching forward… tomorrow.

    kelly,

in the color spectrum, orange is the most healing color. staring deeply into
orange flowers, marigolds, zinnias, is letting that healing ray of light right
through your eyes’s camera into your brain’s joy center; it can lift depression.
orange warms the heart/and soothes a worried mind.
a very good choice of color image!! so right for you right now.

    [ i was trained as a body-worker, and light/color
healing was one of the modalities we learned]

    best wishes to you.

Thanks all. I was happy with this image, too.

And when I think back to that prom dress I always think of its color and how HOT I thought that dress was!
