i used 'hooters' as title of one of my guest haiku.
i think sound and symmetry are both very important,
]
but i'll use slang if it fits....anything for art!

Thanks Johanna. I went back and forth on this one.

I wasn't too sure if I should put the slang term "boob" next to the correct term "womb."

If I was going to write "womb" then shouldn't I write "breast"? Shouldn't I keep the vocabulary consistent?

I also toyed with the word "belly." That maybe it should be "boob" and "belly." I liked the alliteration. And I liked that both weren't quite correct. I'm sure the breast center doctors don't say "boob" and I know a baby doesn't grow in your "belly."

In the end, I decided to go with what is here. I liked that "boob" and "womb" were each 4-letter words -- and they sort of echo each other.
