jagged half-moon scar –
it’s been a year since you joined

True. And how we want to know the stories behind the scars on those we love. I’m forever curious about my hubby’s scars. What’s this from? I ask….

I’ll never forget my first year teaching high school in Brooklyn. So many of my students had scars and I also wanted to know, what from?
