is gratifying when there’s
company coming
And Alison, i love the day after company comes with the “glow” still in the house and the extra leftovers in the fridge. Hope you have fun…

my mom’s czech nanny told me that “dust kitties” were called “slut’s wool” in the old country…. slut = lazy woman, as opposed to our modern definition.

slut’s wool underfoot…
not even hidden beneath
my dusty old couch.
