  I look forward to reading more of yours and Kelly’s haiku this year! Have you guys decided to stick to the traditional 5-7-5 syllable count?

  Yes, we plan on expanding on the 5 -7 -5 so we’ll see where 2010 takes us!

  i really liked this haiku. lovely images!

  glad to hear you might be expanding-
  i have been experimenting with senyru
  shorter-stripped down to bare bones- i like it.

  often i add too many little modifier
  words to make “the count”

  looking forward to another haiku year!
