Just don’t try to make curry over your wood burning stove. That might prove a REALLy bad combination!

That was Ben’s idea, the newspaper headline!

I would have loved it if you were my neighbor and rang me up to interview me about this misadventure. It was really humiliating. We googled how to start a fire in a wood burning stove but the internet directions said nothing about a vent. We were smoked out but thankfully our fire fighters were very nice about it.

I love how this is like a newspaper headline. And you know what….this is exactly the kind of story I’m likely to be assigned by the local newspaper. I always get the quirky human interest stories. Not that I’m complaining. You know me. I thrive on quirky.
