This goes in my top ten for Kelly haiku. I love the imagery in the first line, the fingernail clipping. So everyday, such a small thing we throw out. I love the imagery of the highway home. Completely humble, not romantic. And then the moon right in the middle... I also love the way this one looks. It's small. I was convinced just by the look of it that it had less than 15 syllables, but no. This one is 5.7.5. Perfect seventeen syllables. Oh, I just love this one. This goes in my top ten for Kelly haiku.
