if you paid for the frames with a credit card, then it might be easier to locate the statement online showing that you paid. you can also reference the transaction number.

I know, I know... I should deal with the catalogs. I did this once and it wasn't so hard but it did take some effort to call the company of every single catalog I get in the mail. I get A LOT of catalogs. I'll get to it when Penny goes to nursery school.

But that's not the only problem. Is it just me? I find the paper trail of life just extraordinarily complex. And I find that companies make a lot of mistakes. Somewhat related to paper... a huge amount of things I buy are already broken or end up breaking very quickly. What do I do with that? And do I have time to deal with it?

Not usually. So broken things as well as boxes of papers sit in my basement.

Call the catalogs and tell them to cancel. That's what I did. It takes a few months, but they stop coming.

Yeah, I have some immediate "To-Do's" that are located somewhere in those boxes.

One is that I need to find a receipt for some frames that I purchased a year ago in New York. Now the framers are calling me and harassing me and saying that I did not pay.

The other issue is related to some hospital bills.

When did life get so complicated with papers? Everyday I have about 5 useless catalogs mailed to me along with other junk mail. Papers papers, papers. Perhaps Yuki can shred as you said, D. Gale and my little family and I can go live off the grid.

Well, at least you bought a living shredder recently. She should take care of a good deal of the backlog.

Ha! We moved in here six years ago and there are still boxes of papers shoved in the back of a closet. One of my New Year's resolutions is to clean them out!

Two weeks ago, I finally made it through my box of 8th grade lesson plans! OH, those classroom memories! Next on the list...my box of ESL lesson plans
