I can definitely see the connection between speed and creativity! And believe it or not, knock on wood, I am starting to like driving. But I don’t know that I am “advanced” enough yet to count syllables while driving. I, er, would like to make sure that I stay in my lane….

I find driving to be a perfect haiku-writing time. Sometimes I miss a turn, though.

Counting syllables is much easier when you’re out on the open road. Haiku road trip!

Ah, I was thinking about that, Mary! Can you imagine driving and composing haiku through the Southwestern deserts? Now that would be lovely….
