If they weren’t going to have a separate Olympic event, they should have given women a chance to qualify in the men’s event. It would have been so cool to see Lindsey Van jumping with the men and I also think that would have had a huge impact on growing the sport for women. Every little girl would want to grow up to be like Lindsey Van.

Yeah, I agree Mary. I think the article says that there were enough women to compete but how cool would it have been to see Lindsey flying in the air and taking on the best men! I think she would have beaten them : )
But Lindsay Vonn, my hometown girl, just won the gold!

But for ski jumping, click on the link! Women are not allowed to compete despite Lindsey’s world record. It’s infuriating.
