Haiku 426

The news from Chile is eclipsing the news from New Hampshire.
Alison is still without power, I’m assuming, otherwise she’d be
posting her own little poems. The last time we spoke, her cell phone
was almost out of juice. However . . .

Haiku Must Go On!

And so … once again, I’ve penned a short verse in Alison’s honor:

She’s sick of playing

Little House on the Prairie.

When can she go home?

It’s awful to be without power. I hope hers is on soon!

Thank you, Leslie! It was the worst storm I have ever experienced but we made it through and are going to start generator shopping NOW.

i have been reading your work for most of the entire year.
kelly, how well you know alison shows in your haiku
in her honor. alison, sometimes you write so like kelly
[in a good way]… you all are so in tune, and balance
eachother also. i enjoy seeing that back-and-forth play
