Ariel, I think I wrote this haiku thinking I was comforting Penny but now I realize I was comforting myself. Penny’s not afraid of storms yet, she doesn’t understand the dangers. But I was very afraid. During the storm I kept on wondering if trees were going to come crashing down like during the last storm we had. But this time there was more flooding than tree crashing. Thankfully, our property was not flooded this time.
Does Penny get scared of thunder and strong wind? Darcy got scared in our car over the weekend when it was raining heavily.

You are not having weather luck this year, are you? Your rain doesn’t sound like any fun. I hope you didn’t loose any more trees.

Nice haiku. Relieved
that you didn’t have to pen
the one before this?
