as I bend down to
clean up juice she hops on my
back and shouts “piggy!”
Oh how I remember those “piggy” or in our case, “horsey” days. They were fleeting and, yes, totally exhausting… cherish them, the exhaustion goes away.

and I tried to get her to change it to “horsey” but it didn’t stick…
