I really enjoyed these comments, thanks everyone!

I care enough about my looks that I do not want to look ten years older than I do. But I'm wondering if I can seize the grey and make it work? And how in the world does it grow out?

Kelly, I love the look of a streak of gray. But I'm afraid my grays are scattered, too. I had no idea that you were an early grayer. I started graying at 23 and have dyed my hair since the age of 28.

It's also expensive to color hair every 6 weeks. I haven't yet learned how to color it myself.

No way I can go for a buzz cut! That would not look good...

I may try out my grays for the summer. May be a photo haiga about the process in the future!

I hear you on this one. I started getting gray hairs early -- thanks to my dad's side of the family. : (

For a while, I let them be and let them grow in. But you know what? After a while, when I looked in the mirror, they made me feel older than I felt on the inside. That's when I decided it was time to start covering them up again.

But...one of my good girl friends has decided to leave hers alone. They are growing in in one streak and they look cool that way. Like perhaps she tried to get them too look like that.

Mine though, are just scattered all over. Not a look I was going for.

Oh ... and I also really like the last line of this haiku. It's nice. It fits what you are trying to say perfectly. Well done!
