This haiku reminds me of one written by one of our guest haiku’ers, Barb Heath. She wrote a haiku about taking a hot shower and then stepping out on to a winter street and turning into steam:

Yes! Barb’s haiku is a favorite of mine. I definitely remembered Barb’s haiku during this moment.
