The parade was really fascinating. It was an “Old Home” Parade celebration. I think around ten towns in NH have Old Home Parades which basically celebrate the town and the history of the town and it’s not connected with any other holiday. I have never seen anything like it. I mean it was a parade like all parades but it was rather big for a smallish town and it exuded town pride. I had never heard of Old Home Parades in New York or Pennsylvania!
Was it fresh and locally made blackberry ice cream?
And what was the parade for? A little early for the 4th of July…
