pure shrieks of terror
ten minutes after lights out –
bunny becomes food
I like this haiku. Nature is viscous, isn’t it? Poor bunny. And then again, poor whomever does not get there food… The shriek though…. the shriek can make one question the whole design of nature at times.

The shriek was awful. I had a very hard time falling asleep…

how do you know it was a bunny? rather than nature, this haiku makes me think of “Fatal Attraction”. yikes!
