reds oranges yellows
at the tips of maple trees —
end of August blues
I bet that my friends in New York and my sister in Virginia are not experiencing these signs of autumn just yet! But so north we both are, I am feeling this too…

And the crazy thing is that it’s been 90 degrees the past few days. It still feels like summer! How do the trees know that fall is coming?

very nice juxtaposotion of colors, kelly down here is still in the 90’s, but:
cool misty mornings
busy spiders, crow talk-
fall sneaks in slowly
