Pine trees stand firmly
between my home and the noise
of the old highway.
Ooh. So you’re the first of us to write a “real” haiku with a “nature” theme.

I know, nature! That was the intent and I had to think about the nature I see in my life. Not so romantic but I don’t know how I’d deal with that highway without those trees.
