Nice imagery with old man winter… and still all I want to say is noooooo!!!! Hopefully it will melt in a day for you. We are in full spring mode here now which is funny because I was still wearing snow boots last week. I can’t believe our snow has finally melted.

When I came up with this, it made me think of the Japanese tradition of composing a “death haiku.” Hopefully, the next few days are the “death haiku” of this too long winter.

And, just so you know, there isn’t any snow on the ground. The weathermen have hyped us all up about the possibility of snow this weekend, and we’re all really hoping it doesn’t show up, but it is pretty darn cold and the wind is whipping furiously.

I know what you mean about still wearing boots last week. Just three days ago I packed up all our stocking hats, scarves and gloves and now I’m writing haiku about snow…..

I love the whole idea of bringing the death haiku tradition to a Minnesota winter! Very well done.
