I point to show her
our shadows but she looks up
at the sky instead
I’m tied in a cave. Only shadows do I see. Lust to see the sky . . .

Thanks for sharing your haiku, Bob. I have been having sky lust, too. Only I didn’t realize it.
I find it interesting that my one-and-a-half year old daughter prompted this sky meditation. I think from this tough winter I am out of practice!
