I sit snapping beans
in evening heat, thinking of
my grandma’s garden.
I feel a lot of nostalgia for my grandma during the summertime. It’s like you say - the snapping of beans, or the shucking of corn or the spring and summer flowers. The old ways were so close to nature and I love these memories.

Don’t you have space for a garden at that country house of yours?
You strike me as a gardening, composting sort of gal…
