i love your review of Betsy's book---especially Penelope's comments! i also LOVE this book and recently bought one for 5 friends having babies. it's so sweet and simple and innocent and everything i'd love to read to my baby. btw, my daughter is just 10 weeks old...i started reading to her at 1 week and although she wasn't so excited at first, i went on, and now she dances and wiggles throught every book, even long dr seuss books! maybe it has something to do with how much i read to her in my belly or maybe she just loves being read to. i mean, who doesn't?!

btw, great interview, too! so fun to hear the author/illustrator's thoughts on her whole process!
