I have to say, I was not looking forward to writing this review. It has nothing to do with my Haiku diaper bag, which I absolutely love. It’s just that the circumstances that brought me to my Haiku diaper bag are less than savory.

So this may be an angsty diaper bag review. I apologize. But I hope to end on an uplifting note, so please bare with me.
Early readers of Haiku By Two might remember this haiku. Yes, my very first diaper bag was stolen. From the laundry room in my apartment building. And you must be thinking what I have been thinking ever since - who would steal a diaper bag? Who?
But It was just about the time that Kelly and I were starting Haiku By Two and Kelly, knowing that I needed a new diaper bag, sent me a link to a groovy new handbag company called Haiku by Sharon Eisenhauer. Turns out they have a great line of handbags, some of which function perfectly as diaper bags. Like these spiffy To Go Bags. I was sold. A diaper bag that would somehow encompass the spirit of haiku? This was just what I needed to cure my malaise.
And I do love my Haiku diaper bag. It is “haiku” for so many reasons. It pays tribute to nature with it’s organic designs, patterns and stitchings. Haiku handbags are leather-free and some totes are even made of jute, a sustainable plant-based material. My To Go Bag is also a bit more petite than most diaper bags, and therefore does not cause the stroller to tip over. And of course it comes with a lovely haiku written sweetly on the tag.
Needless to say, my Haiku diaper bag has been working out wonderfully in my day-to-day life. More than just chic it is a reminder for me to look at the positive in my daily life and nature. A stolen diaper bag? Who cares? Now I have haiku.

Thanks for the heads-up to some great green products. I am always looking for eco-friendly items to use with my little one. Love these diaper bags! Too cute!
