		<description>Oh, thank you Kelly! I just got the package mid last week and I've just started looking through the book. It's really cute and I think the haiku are going to continue to mean many things to me. 

Because honestly, I had no idea the hard work (and expense) behind being a "homeowner". BTW, have you ever seen "Meet the Parents"? I always think of that "are you a home owner" scene whenever I think of this word.

Anyways, here are a few haiku from the book that resonate for me:

Music on till 2 A.M.,
dancing in the kitchen - 
no one to complain

A broken heater -
I strap on long underwear as though
going to battle

(Yes, our heater has broken 3 times since we've moved in)

Proudly I eat beans
and franks as I'm writing out
the mortgage payment

(except for us it's pasta)

And I imagine I will be crafting my own quite soon...</description>
