It’s nice to meet up with long lost friends on Facebook. But, your haiku reminds me of how I used to be such a great letter writer, even well into the email days. And letter writing, how it filled me with such longing to see my friends! It’s not quite the same with Facebook, although of course there are people I miss and want to see. But I think Facebook gives you this weird feeling that you know everything that is going on in a person’s life via twitter like comments, photos and fan clubs. And of course there is so much more.

Facebook . . . . so weird. This haiku is totally true. All you need to do is surf somebody’s page and you feel like you’re all caught up.
How deceiving it is.
