This reminds me of this one time in Mexico . . . .
Hubby and I were there for Day of the Dead and the goal was, of course, to stay up all night long.
But we got so dang tired! It was hard to stay awake despite all the partying going on around us. I tried to make a joke and said something about how Hubby and I had never pulled an all nighter together, that it was fun.
He turned to me and said, so bluntly, “I don’t need to pull an all nighter with you.”
It was the Day of the Dead and he was dead serious, but I just laughed at him. It was so true. We were sooooooooooo passed all nighters.
