Introduction: Jen, Guest Haiku’er

Haiku By Two is excited to unveil yet another guest haiku’er to our site!

Let’s give a big ol’ welcome to Jen. That’s her there in the picture sitting in Paul Bunyon’s hand.

Jen’s haiku will appear on this page over the next five days.

Before we get to her haiku, however, which were all written with the theme “Facebook” in mind, here’s what Jen had to say about the writing process:

This is my first attempt at haiku.

I was looking for an outlet to help me deal with my angst about Facebook, specifically my frustration with friend requests from people who are not my real friends.

Now, though, I’m just equally frustrated with writing haiku…

Writing a haiku

means counting syllables then

counting them again
